I have an older Taurus PT-111 G2, and a Taurus G2C. If you don't know, the G2C is almost an exact replica of the PT-111 G2. One of the things I noticed when I compared the two, is that the barrel of the G2C isn't as smooth and polished as the PT-111 G2.My G3C was purchased last week (ostensibly for my wife). My second G3 has the same problem as many others with rounds sometimes nose diving into the bottom of the ramp or jamming into the top of the barrel opening. If it feeds correctly the tip should hit about in the middle of the ramp and slide easily into the chamber.There was a huge difference between the well worn G3 grip stippling and my new G3c. So with enough use and dead skin cells the stippling will be much less abbrassive. Many use sandpaper to move the shart edges. I would start with 600 grit.
